Talos-1

Talos 1 brings accurate, reusable, non-invasive, fluid-flow measurements without penetrating the sterile fluid boundary. Available as OEM technology or stand-alone instrumentation.

Low flow rate infusion systems are subject to startup delays, stiction, occlusion, and environmental sensitivity. All of these problems can be addressed with a suitable flow monitoring sensor. The Talos-1 is the first real-time sensor that monitors flow rates down to 0.05 mL/h without breaking the sterile barrier or coming into physical contact with intravenous fluids.  The Talos-1 sensor clamps around an IV tube, is reusable, and monitors flow within the patient catheter while detecting flow occlusions and flow reversals. Talos-1 is a solid state device that requires no maintenance.
